Kansas Alliance for Education 
Advisory Board Purpose

The purpose of the advisory board is to support and promote KAE. The purpose of KAE is to promote the election of candidates to the Kansas State Board of Education who support quality education for all Kansas children. The advisory board will be kept informed of executive committee actions by periodic email communications.

As an advisory board member the executive committee welcomes your participation and input in the following ways:

  1. Advise the executive committee on political strategy and point us toward key sources of assistance.

  2. Assist in fund raising by recommending potential sources of significant contributions, both within your home district and statewide and be willing to make personal contacts.

  3. Additional helpful participation:

  • Provide assistance in the identification and recruitment of additional members to the KAE Advisory Board.

  • Attend KAE statewide meetings when possible.

  • Help publicize and advocate KAE in your district and state wide. Encourage voter turnout.

  • Provide feedback to KAE Executive Committee and assist in any other way you care to be involved.
